Secretary general

Nathalie Gamain has been evolving for nearly twenty-five (25) years within the pet sector, and more precisely with the aquarium community. Her work experiences with various international organisations (NGOs, public aquariums, design office) has enabled Nathalie to collaborate with the entire chain of custody from oceans to aquariums, including fishermen communities, aquaculture facilities, exporters, importers, transhipppers, retailers and hobbyists, mainly in North America, Europe and Asia.

With such industry background and understanding, she has been representing the European Pet Organization (EPO) in Brussels since 2016, and has taken over its Secretary General in 2018.

Conscious about the importance to raise awareness and educate the next generation to come to the EU agenda and its impact on the sector, Nathalie has been a visiting lecturer since 2020 with the Skema Business School.

Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston (SC, USA), a DESI from the SKEMA Business School (France) and a Master 2 Degree in European Projects Expertise (EPE) from the Université de Caen Normandie (France).
