On May 9th, 2024 EPO members met for their annual AGM at Interzoo 2024 in Nuremberg, Germany.
The 2024 AGM provided the EPO members a good opportunity to continue consolidating their organization and ensuring it continue to be a strong voice of the pet sector at EU level.
In addition to strengthening its structure and refining its activities for the years to come, EPO members also decided upon welcoming a new category of members: associate members. These are entities from the pet sector with which EPO members already collaborate at national level and who aim to support EPO at EU level.
Last but not least, EPO members renewed its Board.
Both its President, Svein A. Fosså from NZB, Norway and its Treasurer, Norbert Holthenrich from ZZF, Germany have been reconducted for their respective mandate for the next two years.
Gerrit Hofstra from DIBEVO, the Netherlands has been elected as one of the EPO Vice President for a two years term- in addition to the current two Vice Presidents, Andreas Poppers from WKO, Austria and Olivier Dominikowski from PRODAF, France.
