As the European Parliament prepares to vote on the Intergroups to be established in the new legislative term, the Intergroup on “Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Development” held a high-level conference to present its 2024–2029 policy priorities and work program.
Organised at the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) on November 19th, this pivotal event brought together many Members of the European Parliament, representatives from EU institutions and UN agencies, stakeholders from the private sector including EPO, researchers, and environmental organizations.
As the Intergroup looks to build on its impactful legacy after 30 years of work in the EP, this event marked an important step in reaffirming its role as a platform for cross-sectoral collaboration and science-based policymaking in support of EU and global sustainability goals.
It’s now or never to take action for the Europe we want, so we kindly ask all MEPs to support the renewal of the Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Development.
