EPO strongly supports the relaunch of the European Parliament Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity & Sustainable Development (CCBSD)

With the recent EU elections that took place over the EU from June 6th to 9th, 2024 and the installment of the new European Parliament foreseen for week 29, the Secretariat of the EP Intergroup on CCBSD has started to promote its Intergroup for its relaunch under this new term (2024-29) around the dissemination of its manifesto.

As a proud Advisory Board Member of the EP Intergroup on CCBSD, EPO strongly supports its relaunch:

Science based evidence and a multi-stakeholder approach are two of the main assets the EP Intergroup on CCBSD presents when tackling the EU agenda.

These are the main reasons for which the European Pet Organization (EPO)- as the voice of the pet sector in Europe- supports the Intergroup’s activities and its relaunch under the new EP term.

EPO strongly believes that supporting the Intergroup’s relaunch is essential to promote and safeguard the pet sector in Europe, and more generally pet keeping while tackling Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development related issues in line with the EU Green Deal and the UN Sustainable Development Goals”, Svein A. Fosså, President of EPO.

EPO invites elected Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to support its relaunch and then its activities.
