After two years with no physical meeting due to the COVID context, the EPO Board met on October 7th, 2021 at the ZZF office in Wiesbaden (Germany). Consolidating EPO and its activities have been the main discussed issues. These meeting’s outcomes will be presented to the EPO membership at its Members’ meeting scheduled at Zoomark 2021. ‍

At its 2019 AGM, EPO members have elected their new Vice-President and Board member, Klaus Krachbüchler from WKO (Austria)- and this following Kurt Essmann's retirement.Klaus joins the EPO board which is currently composed of Svein Fossa, President (from NZB, Norway), Dominic Whitmee, Vice-President (from OATA, UK), and Norbert Holthenrich, Treasurer (from ZZF, Germany).

On December 6, 2016, the Board of EPO met in Wiesbaden at the ZZF headquarters to discuss the future strategies of the European Pet Organization.Ideas generated by this meeting will be worked out in a proposal for the Annual Meeting in May.
