Global pet trade associations and animal keeping organisations have banded together to write an open letter in response to calls to end all live animal trade in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Trade bodies from as far afield as Europe, with the European Pet Organization (EPO), the United States, Canada... have added their name to the letter which seeks to counter the negative and opportunistic campaigns currently being pursued by anti-trade NGOs.
