EPO joined the last meeting of the EU funded project on IAS

EPO has been contributing for these past two years to the EU funded project on raising awareness on Invasive Alien Species (IAS). Within this scope, EPO joined on September 20th, 2022 its last meeting. EPO at the EU Stakeholders conference on Animal Welfare

On December 9th, 2022 EPO joined the virtual EU stakeholders Conference  “EU ANIMAL WELFARE: TODAY AND TOMORROW” – organized by the European Commission. Under the motto “Animal Welfare Matters” the European Commission took this conference’s opportunity to present the preliminary findings of the fitness check on the EU rules on Animal Welfare.

EPO joined the field trip of the EU funded project on IAS

EPO has been contributing for these past two years to the EU funded project on raising awareness on Invasive Alien Species (IAS). Within this scope, EPO joined the two-days meeting on May 9th and 10th, 2022 at the Plankendael Zoo (Mechelen, Belgium).

EPO Members met virtually in December 2021

As a follow-up to the members’ meeting convened in Bologna (Italy) in November 2021, the EPO members met virtually on December 10th, 2021. They all agree on continue strengthening the EPO Secretariat in 2022 to ensure continuing a strong representation of the sector at EU level. ‍
